We host free community events throughout the year that benefit our youth, families and communities in order to provide important resources and promote positive self-development.
In 2015, our free events included a back-to-school giveaway and talent show for hundreds of students where we gave away free book bags and school supplies; an anti-violence volleyball tournament for Philadelphia high school students to promote unity and teach students how to steer clear of violence and make positive choices; a free hip-hop musical matinee at the Prince Theater for hundreds of young people, parents and educators that focused on the growing crises of black male mass incarceration in America.
We also partnered with other organizations to give away toys for children during the Christmas holiday and we participated in National Night Out, a nationwide “community building campaign” to help build safer communities. We offered fun for the entire family including entertainment, food, workshops and giveaways.
Be sure to check back on our website for our year round events that can benefit your child and family.
